About
Seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician in Seattle, Washington, to contribute to the maintenance and operational efficiency of our advanced distribution facility. This role is vital for ensuring our equipment functions optimally and that our logistics processes are supported by reliable infrastructure. You will be involved in routine maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting of warehouse machinery and systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure Safety compliance.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to Safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE when performing duties.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Support the logistics team by minimizing downtime and ensuring operational readiness.
- Follow guidelines for safe manual handling and Lifting when moving equipment or parts.
- Troubleshoot issues related to warehouse systems and equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on new technologies and Safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a proven track record in equipment maintenance, and a thorough understanding of industrial Safety standards. Experience with automated warehouse systems is highly desirable.
