Are you a meticulous and efficient individual looking for an exciting opportunity as an Order Picker in Indianapolis, Indiana? Our growing logistics company is seeking dedicated Order Pickers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders. This involves using picking equipment, such as scanners, and ensuring that the correct quantities of items are selected. Maintaining accuracy and speed is key to fulfilling orders promptly and correctly, which directly impacts customer satisfaction. You will also be involved in packing items securely for shipment and ensuring that all outgoing orders are ready for dispatch. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. This role demands a good level of physical activity, including frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory.

- Verify order accuracy before dispatch.

- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Physical stamina for walking, standing, and lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
