About
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the facility. This includes loading and unloading delivery trucks, transporting goods to designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. Your ability to operate various types of forklifts accurately and safely will be critical to maintaining our operational flow. We are committed to a high standard of safety, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict guidelines, including the use of provided PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free from obstructions.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Ensure all movements are logged accurately in the warehouse management system.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve warehouse objectives in logistics and distribution.
- Certified Forklift Operator with at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience with different types of forklifts is a plus.
- Physical ability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to using PPE and maintaining a safe workplace.
