In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring quality and efficiency. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial to meeting our fulfillment targets. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE to protect our staff. This position offers a great opportunity to be hands-on in a fast-paced warehouse setting and contribute directly to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner data.
- Packing items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verifying order details to ensure accuracy before packaging.
- Labeling packages correctly for outgoing shipments.
- Maintaining an organized and clean workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
- Using warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed.
- Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilizing all required PPE during shifts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability of performing tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to adhering to Safety standards and wearing required PPE.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
