We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our logistics center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position is critical for efficient inventory management and material handling. You will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. A strong focus on safety and operational efficiency is required. If you have experience with specialized warehouse equipment and a dedication to precision, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to move and store merchandise.
- Load and unload materials from trailers and within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform tasks that involve occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize warehouse flow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a reach truck is mandatory; certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring occasional lifting and extended periods of standing and operating machinery.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Understanding of logistics operations is an advantage.
