Job Summary:
Seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator for our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Dallas, Texas. As a key member of our Logistics team, you will be instrumental in the efficient handling of materials, ensuring smooth operations from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities include operating forklifts to move inventory, load and unload trucks, and assist with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate possesses excellent driving skills, a strong safety record, and a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures. This role demands adherence to strict Safety guidelines and consistent use of appropriate PPE. Join us to contribute to a leading Logistics operation.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and unstack merchandise.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring accurate counts and damage checks.
  • Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for timely shipment, maintaining high accuracy standards.
  • Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting and stock put-away.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to Logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests, at all times.
  • Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Capability for frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and best practices in Logistics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended durations.
