About
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the right items are picked, packed, and ready for dispatch, minimizing errors and maximizing customer satisfaction. This position is vital to our daily warehouse operations and requires a strong commitment to productivity and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace guidelines.
