About
We are seeking a dependable Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team in Provo, Utah. This role is integral to the efficient operation of our distribution network, ensuring that products are managed effectively from inbound to outbound processes. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. A strong emphasis is placed on adhering to all Safety standards and utilizing the necessary PPE . This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in Logistics .
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training available).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly follow all Safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE , such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Participate in tasks involving physical demands, including regular Lifting and movement of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Basic computer skills are helpful.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Dedication to promoting and maintaining a safe workplace.
