About
We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our energetic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia! This role is fundamental to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating specific items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or digital orders, ensuring the correct product and quantity are selected. Following the picking process, you will carefully package these items, ensuring they are protected for transit and ready for shipment. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and movement of products. We place a high emphasis on safety, and all team members are required to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will operate various warehouse tools and equipment as needed, and maintaining an organized workspace is critical. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order tickets or scanners.
- Verify picked items for accuracy in product and quantity.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipping purposes.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use designated PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity targets.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a picking and packing role within a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred. Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Good manual dexterity and organizational skills. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics. Understanding and compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE. Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Positive attitude and strong teamwork capabilities.
