Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily warehouse activities.
- Manage and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and performance targets are met.
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain a high standard of workplace safety .
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Manage equipment operation and maintenance.
- Conduct training and performance reviews for team members.
- Assist with lifting and other manual tasks as needed.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on warehouse activities.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Commitment to upholding strict safety standards and ensuring proper PPE usage.
