Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy Houston, Texas warehouse! In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the facility. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods, contributing directly to our logistics and supply chain success. This position requires certified forklift operation skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will work collaboratively with other team members, adhering to all operational procedures and safety regulations. Maintaining a secure and organized workspace is paramount. This role is essential for keeping our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
  • Move materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks.
  • Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock placement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support overall warehouse logistics and operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to wearing required PPE and following all safety guidelines.
