In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging these items for shipment. Success in this position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and a commitment to quality. You'll be working within a dynamic logistics environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Your duties will include using order pick lists, locating products, verifying quantities and items, and ensuring items are packaged safely and securely. The role involves consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasional Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. We prioritize a safe working environment, so adherence to all Safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify product details and quantities against order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply appropriate labels and documentation to packages.
- Prepare orders for shipment and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock replenishment activities.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Proven ability to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for order forms.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the use of PPE.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
