We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. You will play a key part in our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory is handled accurately and safely. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from production and storage areas, and performing routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is paramount. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential. We provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success. You will be expected to adhere to all PPE requirements, including wearing safety vests and hard hats when necessary. This role involves significant Lifting and manual dexterity. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage or to production areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the system.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Adhere to PPE requirements at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Excellent awareness of safety protocols.
