We are working in partnership with a well-established regional main contractor to recruit an experienced Design & Build professional to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a privately owned contractor with a strong reputation for quality, repeat business, and collaborative delivery, operating across both public and private sector schemes. Design Manager Role Description: You will play a key role in delivering Design & Build projects from pre-construction through to handover, working closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes. This is a client-facing role, requiring strong technical understanding, coordination of design development, and effective programme delivery. Typical Projects
The business delivers a diverse range of schemes, typically valued between
£1m
£15m+ , including: Education facilities (schools, colleges, technical institutes) Healthcare & laboratory environments Commercial & office developments Industrial & manufacturing units Retail & leisure schemes Residential & mixed-use developments Many projects are delivered via
