Job Description: Database Administrator – Migration & Data Management
Department / Reporting
Department: Technology Services
Reports To: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary
The Database Administrator – Migration & Data Management is responsible for the integrity, security, and performance of ERF’s enterprise data environment. This role oversees Oracle database administration, leads migration and data cleansing efforts for V3locity, and supports Salesforce (Clarity) configuration and integration.
This position ensures compliance with Dallas City Code Chapter 40A and supports cross-functional operations with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Database Administration (Oracle):
* Administer and maintain Oracle databases ensuring performance and security *Perform tuning, backups, recovery, and capacity planning* Manage access controls and security protocols
Data Migration & Implementation:
* Lead migration from legacy systems to V3locity *Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders* Validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Data Cleansing & Governance:
* Implement data quality and cleansing processes *Perform profiling, normalization, and validation* Maintain audit-ready documentation
Salesforce (Clarity) Configuration:
* Configure and optimize Salesforce platform *Develop workflows, dashboards, and integrations* Ensure data integrity across systems
Testing & Validation:
* Develop test scripts and support UAT *Document defects and resolutions*
Collaboration:
* Work with Business Pillar Owners and departments *Serve as liaison with vendors and consultants*
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5–7 years of database administration experience
Experience with Oracle and Salesforce systems
Experience with data migration and cleansing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Strong Oracle SQL and database performance skills *Experience with ETL and data reconciliation* Salesforce configuration knowledge *Strong analytical and communication skills*
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with pension systems (VITECH/V3locity) *Familiarity with NetSuite and BI tools* Project management experience
Work Environment
* Office-based with hybrid flexibility *Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders* Extended hours during migration phases

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
