Sheet Metal Worker

Job Summary:

A competitive opportunity exists for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our client's team on a large scale naval project. The ideal candidate will possess a Modern Apprenticeship certificate, have a clear understanding of SHE and COSHH risks awareness, and experience working in confined spaces or at height.

The role offers a flexible work environment with the potential to operate on various projects. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and have a background in a major construction or manufacturing environment.

Shift Patterns may include:

• Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Back Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Night Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM
• Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Overtime Rates apply as follows:

• Monday - Thursday: Time and a third
• Friday: Time and a half for the first 4 hours, double time thereafter
• Saturday: Time and a half
• Sunday: Double time

Requirements:

• Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers)
• Clear understanding of SHE and COSHH risks awareness
• Experience working in confined spaces or at height
• Background in a major construction or manufacturing environment
