About
Air Traffic Engineer
Based at our Warton, Preston facility, you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault investigation and repair of communication and navigational systems used in Air Traffic Control.
This role involves the day-to-day management of scheduled maintenance and prioritizing faults that may occur during your watch. You will work with both civil and military aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance of communication and navigational systems.
- Fault investigation and rectification.
- Prioritization of faults during your watch.
- HNC level engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in fault investigation and rectification.
- Familiarity with telecommunications test equipment.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of network and data communications.
- Experience using Instrument Landing System, Distance Measuring Equipment, Primary Surveillance Radar, Secondary Surveillance Radar, Non-Directional Beacon, Direction Finder, Radio Transmitters and Receivers, Voice Communication Control System.
- Competitive salary range £47,683 - £52,426 depending on skills and experience.
