System Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in requirements analysis, system architecture design, and systems proving. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex product development, particularly in the defence/aerospace industry.

• Requirements Analysis: Develop specifications and justification for system design.
• System Architecture Design: Create detailed models of system architecture.
• Systems Proving: Conduct trade studies to inform design decisions and ensure system certification.
• Engineering Tools: Utilize systems engineering tools such as IBM DOORS Next, Rhapsody, and others.

• Electro-Optical Systems: Knowledge of physics and technologies involved.
• Model-Based Engineering: Practical application of SysML and other techniques.
• AGILE Frameworks: Experience working in AGILE teams and applying Agile methodologies.
• Defence Standards: Familiarity with Defence, Military, or aerospace standards and design assurance processes.
• Missile Technologies: Understanding of imaging, sensors, guidance, navigation, propulsion, datalinks, energetics, etc.

Working Requirements

• Manage engineering work packages to deliver value outcomes.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and subject matter experts.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
