DevOps Engineer

A Dev-Ops Engineer is needed to help a Midlands based games studio move their source control, asset storage databases, servers and services to on-site servers. This includes working on a successful PC/Console title, ensuring optimal server output.

As the lead in Dev-Ops, you will be responsible for optimizing and managing usage of Microsoft Azure, GitHub, and Unity Version Control. The team requires expertise in moving the build pipeline from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, making experience with this essential.

This can be either 100% remote or hybrid work arrangement, with a preference for candidates based in the UK and EU countries within a 1-2 hour time zone difference from the UK.

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the games industry, specifically in Windows Server, MSSQL, Azure, and Azure Data Explorer (Kusto). Experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions, as well as modding and Unity, is also desirable.

• Experience with managing high-availability servers, including security compliance
• Experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions
• Modding experience in your spare time is a bonus
• Unity experience is a bonus but not essential
• A strong portfolio demonstrating live code or games worked on is a bonus
