Our client is a prestigious Collegiate University with a diverse estates portfolio.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Interim M&E Mobilisation Manager to support our University in getting a new building from construction to business-as-usual maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Mobilise the development of a hard FM Maintenance team/service from scratch.
- Permits to Work - undertake technical assessments and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
- Evaluate quotations from suppliers and review quoted works from our M&E Service Partner.
- Schedule and oversee ongoing works, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to university operations.
- Review and sign off completed works, undertaking technical assessments and enabling invoice payments.
- Support Consultant M&E staff with Major Project proposals and assist in the preparation of M&E budgets.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of mobilising a hard FM Maintenance team/service within a public sector estate, ideally higher education. Relevant technical qualifications within mechanical / electrical building services are essential (e.g. HNC / HND).
DurationThis interim assignment will be up to 6 months initially with a view to extend.
