Aurora Medical Center Grafton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a nursing job in Grafton, Wisconsin.

The ICU Grafton is unique, with a community hospital feel and a 'teaching hospital' environment. Our intensivists have students, offering constant teaching and learning opportunities for our nurses. We are the cardiac receiving hospital between Green Bay and Milwaukee, requiring us to be ready at all times. Our ICU nurses receive training in CVVH, Balloon Pumps, Swan Ganz Catheters, and more.

Our 17-bed ICU has a 24/7 intensivist and respiratory therapists, where you'll be an integral part of the collaborative care team. We have a robust Cardiovascular program focused on delivering high-quality care and driving optimal patient outcomes.

• Uses the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan, and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
• Anticipates and recognizes changes in patient condition, status, and need for care, taking appropriate actions and collaborating with other healthcare team members.
• Implements strategies to reduce patient risk and increase patient safety, assessing patient and family readiness to learn and tailoring approaches as needed.
• Acts as a leader in discharge planning, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and applying evidence-based practice to deliver patient care.

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
