Key Responsibilities:
· Manage highway applications associated with the highway development control process, including S38, S111, S278 applications under the Highways Act 1980.
· Take a leading role in processing full-range planning applications to discharge reserved highway planning condition matters.
· Attend Planning Committee meetings, pre-application and planning meetings, and provide advice on highway matters associated with planning applications.
· Possess a full UK driving licence for site visits.
Requirements:
Essential:
· Significant experience in managing highway applications, including dealing with S38, S111, S278 applications under the Highways Act 1980.
· Proven ability to take a leading role in processing full-range planning applications.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to attend Planning Committee meetings and provide advice on highway matters.
· A full UK driving licence for site visits.
