Data Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a leading biotechnology company based in the London area. As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing data infrastructure, leveraging your technical expertise to support the company's innovative mission.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement scalable data architecture to support the company's data needs.
• Optimize performance and ensure data quality and reliability across all systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues while continuously improving data processes and workflows.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven industry experience in data engineering within a biotech organization.
• A working knowledge and practical experience with Snowflake, Python, and Azure.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and data integration. You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
