Senior Planning Engineer – Drive Complex Projects Forward

Location: Hybrid / Sussex

Contract Type: Permanent OR Contract, Up to £70K + Bonus + Benefits / £420 - £450 (Inside IR35)

A senior planning engineer is needed to drive complex projects forward in a leading organisation delivering high-profile aviation and infrastructure projects.

Your Impact:

Create and manage project schedules to ensure seamless execution, lead feasibility studies and develop strategic plans, monitor project progress, analyse delays, and assess compensation events.

Collaborate with contractors to align schedules with project goals and identify critical milestones and risks to maintain project efficiency.

What You Need:

At least 3 years of experience in planning large-scale infrastructure projects (£10M+), strong background in Primavera P6 & NEC contracts, degree in engineering, construction, or project management, industry knowledge in aviation, rail, utilities, or civil engineering, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
