Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Tangent International are seeking a Senior Group Legal Counsel to join Strategic Sourcing and Projects Legal Affairs, a new unit within the Group Function Legal Affairs (GFLA). This role will focus on strengthening contracting with our most critical suppliers across the globe.

• Provide legal advice to stakeholders involved in supplier selection, contracting, and management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate supplier agreements and related contracts.
• Provide trainings on relevant legal and contractual issues.
• Evaluate and raise risks and concerns regarding contracting practices and specific contracts.

• Law degree or equivalent qualification from a leading university or law school.
• Qualification as a solicitor or barrister for UK applicants.
• At least 7 years of experience as a commercial, technology, and/or corporate lawyer.
• Experience advising on complex multinational groups and cross-border matters.
• A broad and proportionate approach to risk.
• High level of integrity and independence.
• Business and technology acumen.
• Ability to handle counterparty negotiations and support executives.
• Good networking ability and interpersonal skills.
