Maintenance Engineer

Hiring a Lead Maintenance Engineer for Plant & Machinery in Nottinghamshire.

We seek an experienced Plant & Machinery Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading civil engineering business.

The successful candidate will work with plant maintenance equipment, repairing and servicing machinery and earth-moving gear.

As a key member of our plant maintenance team, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain plant machinery and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.

You will report directly to the Assistant Plant Manager, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair plant machinery and equipment
• Conduct all work safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and complete job card documentation
• Collaborate with the production team to support daily operations
• Identify and implement improvements for plant machinery reliability

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification
• Experience using systems and completing job card documentation
• Prior experience working with CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo plant machinery
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to obtain it
