Senior Process Improvement Specialist
Chemical & Medical Device Manufacturing
This is an exciting opportunity to lead process improvement projects in a growing chemical and medical device manufacturing business.
About the Role:
- Process Assessment: Analyze existing chemical manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement initiatives using Lean principles to optimize yield, efficiency, and cost savings.
- EHS Compliance: Ensure all process improvements align with environmental, health, and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Regulatory Support: Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams to maintain compliance with GMP requirements.
- Quality Enhancement: Implement process controls to improve product quality.
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage projects from initial assessment to execution and monitoring.
- Best Practices: Collaborate with production teams to implement best practices.
About You:
- Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience/qualifications.
- Lean Qualification: Lean/Six Sigma certification and/or experience.
- Industry Experience: Experience in a similar role.
- Project Management: Experience working independently and managing projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, lean principles, and project management.
