Engineering Programme Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, determining project scopes and timelines, managing project risks, and communicating project progress to relevant stakeholders.

• Project Leadership: Lead projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
• Project Planning: Define project scope, timeline, and resource requirements, and communicate project progress to product managers and the engineering director.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with relevant teams.
• Resource Planning: Update the resource planner for each project and negotiate resourcing as needed.
• Program Governance: Support the Engineering Director with new reporting templates and develop program/project governance.

• Project Management Experience: Proven experience as a project manager in an automotive engineering environment delivering complex projects.
• Certifications: Prince 2 or APM qualifications.
• Tools: Proficient in MS Project management tools.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and manage members of the project team.
• Financial Management: Able to track project spend and manage contingent costs.
