Schools - RN Nurse

We are seeking an experienced School Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide essential, hands-on care for elementary-aged students in a 1:1 position.

As the School Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the health needs of a specific elementary student, ensuring they receive the medical care and attention they need to succeed in the classroom.

• Provide ongoing medical care, including administering first aid and medication, as needed, throughout the school day
• Manage students' health records and keep up to date with any medical requirements or modifications
• Monitor and support students with chronic health conditions, allergies, or other medical needs
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure accommodations and health plans are followed
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics, promoting wellness and safety throughout the school
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for students to ensure their health and safety

• Valid RN or LPN license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of child health and common childhood conditions
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations while maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with school staff, students, and parents
• A strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young learners
