Senior Developer/Route to Tech Leadership

Location: London, 3 days a week in the office

Tech Stack: Python, React, MongoDB, AWS, Lambda

Industry: Shipping/Maritime - Exchange Trading Platform (Commodities, Derivatives, Indices)

Immersum is supporting the growth of a specialist consultancy in the Maritime trading industry.

You will work onsite with a specific client to develop a new product, supporting the growth of their market benchmark reporting and data presentation to the markets.

With a long history in providing IT services to the Maritime industry, this company is looking to expand its Data Insights services to key business partners.

They work with multiple data providers in the shipping and maritime industry to build indices and financial data for commodities and derivatives published to investors and traders.

• Refactor the client's software architecture
• Drive performance through nearshore teams of Developers, QA's, and London-based Product, Delivery, and Data teams
• Develop software, machine learning models, and financial benchmarks
• Work with key stakeholders on technical decisions and people leadership

Experience as a Senior Developer looking to move into tech leadership

Strong understanding of Python, React, MongoDB, AWS, and Lambda

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
