About Us:

{company} is a leading multi-strategy hedge fund seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team in London.

The successful candidate will lead the expansion of building out the fund's global on-premise datacenters by implementing compute, storage and network infrastructure to deliver a cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of compute, storage, and network infrastructure to deliver a cloud platform.
• Provision and configure physical and virtual servers.
• Develop strong Linux and Windows systems administration skills using automation tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using HashiCorp stack (Vault, Consul, Nomad, Terraform and/or Packer).
• Utilize automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible.
• Administer Linux distributions and Windows services (Active Directory etc).
• Ensure production use of Containers, KVM, LXC, libvirt, Proxmox technologies/products in the virtualisation stack.
• Implement well-established high-availability techniques such as Keepalived and HAProxy.
• Manage Git workflow.

Ideal Experience:

• Infrastructure as Code - ideally with the HashiCorp stack (Vault, Consul, Nomad, Terraform and/or Packer).
