• Perform stick welding on various projects, including welding new plates and patching barges.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute welding tasks.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail, producing clean and accurate welds that contribute to the structural integrity and safety of marine vessels.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a safe and organized work area.
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment, promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth project execution and troubleshoot challenges.

• Previous experience as a stick welder.
• Proficiency in stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of metal properties, fabrication techniques, and welding processes.
• Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols and practices in welding operations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
