Job Title: Welder

$22 - $28 an hour

Shift:
1st shift - 6am-4:30pm - M-F
OT every other weekend

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Perform stick welding and MiG welding on barges.
  • Grind, torch cut, and fit materials as needed for repairs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise welding tasks.
  • Check in barges and carry out necessary repairs onsite.
  • Collaborate with the machine shop to obtain precise materials for repairs.
  • Work efficiently in various weather conditions including wind, rain, snow, and heat.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in MiG welding and stick welding.
  • Experience with torch cutting and grinding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Fitting and fabrication skills.
  • Experience using a tape measure for precise measurements.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
