Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager, Operating Room, this position coordinates the care of surgical patients in accordance with established nursing standards and practices.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, formulating a plan of care, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions to achieve desired patient outcomes.

Nursing care is provided in compliance with the philosophy and standards set by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies, and professional organizations.

The nurse is accountable for the safety and quality of the nursing care delivered or supervised.

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum one year perioperative nursing experience
• Current license as a professional nurse in Massachusetts
• BLS healthcare provider certification
• CNOR certification preferred

• Computer skills required
• Ability to maintain confidential information

Responsibilities:
