Psychiatric Registered Nurse - Brockton, MA

Program Type : PACT (Adult, Community Outreach)

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

• Medication management including administration of oral and intra-muscular medications, monitoring side effects, contraindications, and drug reactions

• Meet clients in our Brockton office, in their homes, and in community settings to administer medication

• Liaise with supplying pharmacies and provide oversight for medication storage and deliveries, communicate prescription changes, and prepare medications for clients to manage

• Educate clients on self-managing medications and overall health and wellness according to clients' needs. Monitor medication usage and make changes accordingly

• Participate in team meetings to discuss treatment planning and client progress. Collaborate with team to problem solve and determine best way to deliver comprehensive services

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited and/or approved registered nurse program

• Current, unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

• Minimum 1 year experience working as a registered nurse

• Current certification in CPR

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
