Physical Education Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Starting in September 2025

This is a full-time, all-year-round position on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.

We are seeking a Physical Education Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover basis to teach students across Years 7 to 11 at Stanchester Academy. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who believes in putting students first, values collaboration, and is committed to inclusive education.

About the Role:

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will inspire students to develop a love for physical activity and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4.
• Planning and assessing engaging lessons that cater to all abilities.
• Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Contributing to the extra-curricular sports program and school events.
• Working closely with colleagues to support student progress and development.
