General Manager in Training

Operations Managers play a crucial role in driving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction by overseeing daily operations. Key responsibilities include leading a team, managing processes, and executing strategies to grow sales and meet organizational goals.

• Hands-on management of multiple business operations, including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular inspections and maintenance.
• Drive sales growth through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure task execution, schedule integrity, and accurate reporting.
• Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in talent acquisition efforts and contribute to the development of high-performing teams.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in retail, travel stop, or c-store management.
• Proven track record of managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
• Strong analytical skills, including ability to affect and decipher budgets and P&L statements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
