General Manager in Training

We are seeking a General Manager in Training to join our team at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage all aspects of a location, including store, restaurant, and tire care operations.

As a General Manager in Training, you will be empowered to be an owner-operator and make key decisions to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple responsibilities and ensuring that your teams are well-trained and delivering world-class service.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in retail, travel stop, or c-store management, with a proven track record of managing operations with high sales volume and supervising employees. They will also possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

• Run the store, restaurant, and tire care concepts in a Love's Travel Stop location
• Ensure sales growth through merchandise execution and promote world-class service
• Supervise and train employees, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Manage budgets and P&L statements, and supervise the maintenance of accurate records
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• 2+ years of experience in retail, travel stop, or c-store management
• Proven track record of managing operations with high sales volume
• Supervising employees and training them to deliver world-class service
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Valid Driver's License
