Key Responsibilities:Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver friendly, welcoming service every day, managing store tasks and challenging situations effectively.
  • Coach and train team members to enhance capabilities and foster an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued.
  • Ensure store safety, legality, and full operation.
  • Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to provide a seamless shopping experience.
  • Support the Store Manager by deputising when needed and handling HR processes.
  • Lead the implementation of new products and services, promoting open and honest feedback.
  • Engage with the local community to support the Store Manager in delivering the Co-op community plan.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must be aged 18 or over.
  • Full-time position with varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
  • Flexible working hours including some early morning shifts.
  • Desire to learn and grow as a leader.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
