General Manager in Training

At Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to assist in driving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role is perfect for driven individuals looking to make an impact.

• Lead a team of employees to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through daily operations and maintenance.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capture opportunities.

• 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
• 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+million.
• 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Intermediate level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
