Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team at BDO. As a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, we provide advice and solutions to entrepreneurial organisations navigating today's changing world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing all aspects of the audit, including people management responsibilities covering resource planning and allocation, performance management, training and recommendations for promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as audit lead for large assignments, supported by Managers as needed.
- Lead and direct all aspects of the audit, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
- Develop specialist knowledge of a sector and/or technical area, and/or commercial area.
- Engage with key stakeholders on technical and audit judgement decisions.
Requirements:
- ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
- Significant experience delivering audit and other assurance services to major businesses.
- Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
- Business development experience, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
