Job Summary
As an Operations Manager at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, you will be responsible for leading daily operations to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple business operations will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple business operations including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular safety checks and maintenance
- Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards
- Assist the General Manager with task execution, schedule integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Understand financial reporting and analyze profit and loss statements to capture opportunities
- Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition efforts
Requirements:
- 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management
- 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million
- 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements
- 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees
- Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
