Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick items from warehouse shelves according to order slips or scanning devices.
- Pack products securely and appropriately for safe transit.
- Ensure all orders are accurate and complete before final packaging.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other lifting devices as necessary.
- Apply shipping labels and other required documentation to packages.
- Keep the packing area neat, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and stocktaking activities.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to management.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a picking or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to remain on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and PPE requirements.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic logistics setting.
