We are hiring enthusiastic Order Pickers to join our vibrant distribution center in Miami, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your main responsibilities will include picking products from warehouse shelves using a pick list or scanning device, accurately packing items, and preparing them for shipment. This fast-paced role requires a high level of attention to detail and efficiency. You'll be working as part of a dedicated logistics team, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain. We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace safety; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and walking, so good physical condition is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking and collecting products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Using RF scanners or pick lists to identify and locate items.
- Packing items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verifying picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Collaborating with shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Meeting daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Participating in ongoing training to improve efficiency and safety knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning devices is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
