Join our busy distribution center in Baltimore, Maryland, as a Material Handler! We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to keep our warehouse running smoothly. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. Your role is crucial to our logistics network, ensuring that goods are managed efficiently and accurately. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Teamwork and effective communication are key. We are committed to providing a safe work environment and require all employees to adhere to Safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock checks.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting (up to 60 lbs), standing, walking, and bending.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Reliability and punctuality.
