About
We are seeking diligent Material Handlers to support our bustling logistics operations in Austin, Texas. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement, organization, and tracking of materials within our warehouse. This includes receiving incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking items for orders, and preparing shipments. Your ability to work effectively and safely is paramount to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and supporting our clients' needs. We emphasize a commitment to safety, requiring all team members to follow established protocols and utilize the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role is integral to our supply chain and requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
- Sort, organize, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and stage materials for outgoing orders accurately.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks.
- Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Capacity for Lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
