Seeking dependable Warehouse Workers for our facility in Detroit, Michigan. This position is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch. We are looking for individuals who are physically capable, possess excellent attention to detail, and prioritize safety in all aspects of their work. A strong team player attitude is essential as you collaborate with colleagues to meet daily objectives. Your role directly supports our commitment to reliable logistics services. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload inbound shipments.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Operate manual material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace according to safety standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics department.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Ability to perform physical labor, including consistent lifting up to 50 lbs. Basic understanding of warehouse functions and logistics principles. A strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures. Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
