Are you an experienced Inventory Control Specialist looking for a new challenge? Our thriving logistics company in Provo, Utah, is seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to manage our inventory with precision. This role is critical to optimizing our stock levels, ensuring accuracy, and minimizing discrepancies within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for implementing and refining inventory control procedures, conducting audits, and utilizing warehouse management systems to their full potential. Your expertise will directly impact our logistics efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory data within the WMS.
  • Develop, implement, and improve inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory turnover, identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Process all inventory adjustments, transfers, and receipts.
  • Ensure optimal storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Champion adherence to all safety regulations and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance teams on inventory-related matters.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and logistics.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory control or a related warehouse management role. Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Must be comfortable with lifting up to 30 lbs. A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
