Seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our Charlotte, North Carolina distribution center. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting and preparing items for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety. You will use equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners to locate, pick, and stage items. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products quickly. We prioritize a safe working environment, mandating the use of appropriate PPE and adherence to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Locate products within the warehouse using established methods.
- Stage orders for shipment and ensure correct quantities.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and RF scanning technology.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles.
- Good stamina and physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and consistent use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
