Your primary responsibilities will include accurately retrieving items from inventory shelves and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Success in this role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to quality. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that customer orders are processed correctly and on time. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well under pressure, and is dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, as is familiarity with warehouse operations. This position involves regular Lifting and requires physical stamina. We are committed to workplace Safety, and all employees must follow established guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. Your contribution ensures customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Select items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and surrounding area.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of packages and materials.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Must be able to stand for long hours and perform repetitive tasks.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Understanding of basic inventory and logistics principles.
